Content of experiment:in this paper, a monitoring method based on piezoelectric active sensing is proposed. The time inversion technology is used to improve the signal to noise ratio of the signal, and the relationship between the inversion focused signal and soil moisture content is established.
Purpose of experiment:aiming at the problem of large-scale soil water content monitoring,the soil moisture content monitoring technology based on stress wave time inversion focus signal is studied.
Test equipment:piezoelectric sensor, arbitrary waveform generator, power amplifier, charge amplifier, data acquisition card, computer, etc.

Experimental process:The data acquisition system consists of arbitrary waveform generator, power amplifier (ATA-2041), charge amplifier, data acquisition card, computer and piezoelectric sensor at receiver and transmitter, as shown in the figure. Arbitrary waveform generator generates the waveform, after being amplified by the power amplifier ATA-2041, the output signal voltage is 400V. The received signal is amplified by charge amplifier and collected by multi-function data acquisition card to computer.

Result of experiment:
1.The amplitude of the focused signal decreases with the increase of water content. The soil water content can be determined by analyzing the amplitude of the focused signal. This method can be used as an effective means for regional monitoring of soil water content.
2.The focused signal obtained by the time inversion method can effectively improve the signal to noise ratio. Therefore, the piezoelectric active sensor time inversion method has a good application prospect in soil regional water content monitoring.
Amplifier's role in this experiment:excitation of the signal, drive the sensor.
