High voltage and wireless drive of in-capacitor LED
Name of experiment:high voltage and wireless drive of in-capacitor LED inspired by friction nanogenerator
Research direction:AC LED driven, friction nanogenerator
Experiment content:
The frictional nanogenerator (TENG) can drive hundreds of LED at the same time, and its mechanism is to generate periodic compound luminescence of fixed amount of carriers. Inspired by TENG, we propose an in-capacitor LED device, which uses an amplified signal provided by a power amplifier and compares it with the output of a friction nanogenerator. Finally, we propose a high-voltage and wireless drive of an in-capacitor LED.
Purpose of experiment:
The working mechanism of TENG driven LED is explained in detail, and a kind of LED structure in capacitor is proposed to promote the development of TENG and AC LED.
Test equipment:in-capacitor LED device, signal generator, power amplifier, electrometer, oscilloscope, photodiode
Experimental process:
1.Device structure:
A. For high voltage driven LED, there is a capacitor at each end of the LED in series with the LED, and the capacitor-LED capacitor is connected to the main power supply.
B. For wirelessly driven LED, there are two parallel indium tin oxide (ITO) external electrodes (7 cm * 7cm) distance 3.5cm.
C. Between the external electrodes is an induction electrode - LED-induction electrode module, including two parallel induction electrodes connected by the LED
2.Steps of experiment:
A. An AC voltage is applied to the outer electrode, which is generated by a signal generator combined with a power amplifier
B. Oscilloscope is used to collect the output of 'in-capacitor LED', and photodiode is used to collect brightness
C. Electrometer was used to collect the output of vertical separation TENG
Result of experiment:
1. By comparing the output of TENG driven LED and 'in-capacitor LED', it can be found that they are basically the same.
2. The high voltage drive of 'in-capacitor LED' is realized.
3. The wireless drive of 'in-capacitor LED' is realized.
