Application of high voltage amplifier in acoustoptic mode conversion experiment based on piezoelectric ceramics
Name of experiment: acoustoptic mode conversion experiment based on piezoelectric ceramics
Research direction:optical fiber mode
Content of experiment: high frequency and high voltage signals are used to drive the piezoelectric ceramic vibration fiber to produce mode conversion
Purpose of experiment:the high efficiency vibration of piezoelectric ceramics is realized by amplifying the driving voltage with the power amplifier
Test equipment: piezoelectric ceramic, Aigtek ATA-2022H high voltage amplifier, signal generator
Experimental process:
The high frequency sinusoidal signal (near 1 MHz) generated by the signal generator is amplified to about 100 volts by the high frequency high voltage amplifier, which can well drive the piezoelectric ceramic plate vibration and generate the required high frequency effective vibration to achieve the mode conversion.
Result of experiment:
The voltage amplitude that output by the signal generator is very low, the driving ability to the piezoelectric ceramic pieces is weak, and its vibration efficiency is very low, which can not meet the high frequency and high efficiency vibration required for mode conversion. However, after the addition of high voltage power amplifier, the driving voltage increases greatly, which makes the piezoelectric ceramic plate vibration intensity, the sound and light effect is strong, and the mode coupling experiment results are ideal.
The role of the amplifier in this experiment: high-frequency voltage amplifies, driving the piezoelectric ceramic to vibrate
