power amplifier drives NKT tunable light sources
Name of experiment: Aigtek power amplifier drives NKT tunable light sources
Research direction:optical device transmission spectrum
Content of experiment: NKT tunable light source is driven by high frequency and high pressure signal to generate wavelength tunable narrow linewidth light source
Purpose of experiment:The power amplifier is used to amplify the voltage of the scanning signal, and drive the PZT in the laser cavity to realize the fine scanning of the wavelength of the output light source of the NKT narrow linewidth laser
Test equipment: NKT Photonics K82-150-13、Aigtek ATA-2022H
Experimental process:
NKT narrow linewidth tunable laser generated by the laser signal through the high frequency voltage amplifier, the amplitude (peak-to-peak value) is amplified to about 100 volts, and then connected to the micro-knot-type fiber resonator, through oscilloscope detection, the transmission spectrum of optical device , and high precision transmission characteristics can be tested well.
Result of experiment:
The wavelength of the NKT narrow linewidth laser is tuned by the cavity mirror, and driven by the high frequency voltage to change the length of the cavity, which can output high-power and high-stability optical scanning signal. The optical wavelength scanning signal is tested on the transmission performance of the optical resonator, and the comb transmission spectrum of the micro-knot type resonator is obtained.
The role of the amplifier in this experiment:
PZT tunings are scanned at narrow linewidth laser wavelengths to obtain the resonant peak response in the microcavity.
