The Application of the ATA-314 Power Amplifier in the Conducted Susceptibility Testing of the CS101 Power Line
With the development of information technology and the continuous improvement of electrification and automation levels, the electromagnetic environment has become increasingly complex, and electromagnetic interference has become more prominent in product development. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) can no longer be ignored. In military standard EMC testing, the CS101 test primarily assesses the ability of the Equipment Under Test (EUT) to withstand signals coupled to the input power lines.
The ATA-314 power amplifier from Aigtek can reach a maximum power of 2000W and operates up to a frequency of 200kHz, making it well-suited for the power amplifier requirements in the CS101 test.
Experiment Name: CS101 Power Line Conducted Susceptibility Test
Experiment Principle:
Electromagnetic interference signals of specific frequencies and strengths are injected into the power or signal lines of the device via a power amplifier. The working state and performance changes of the device under these interferences are observed and recorded to evaluate the device's conducted susceptibility.

Experimental Process:
The test equipment is connected according to the CS101 standard, with a 0.5-ohm resistor connected to the secondary ends of the coupling transformer for calibration. A sensitivity signal (sine wave) is generated by the signal generator and the ATA-314 power amplifier, which is then applied to the 0.5-ohm resistor through the coupling transformer. An oscilloscope is used to read the voltage level of the input signal. If this power value is below the power limit specified by the standard, the output amplitude of the signal source is increased until the value monitored by the oscilloscope reaches the standard limit.
