Application of power amplifier in flexible electrode machining experiment of piezoelectric transducer
Name of experiment:flexible electrode machining experiment based on piezoelectric transducer
Research direction:ultrasonic machining
Content of experiment:high frequency mechanical vibrations are generated by piezoelectric transducers, and graphite is rolled onto the surface of a flexible silicone film to form electrodes.
Purpose of experiment:the high efficiency vibration of piezoelectric transducer is realized by amplifying the driving voltage of the power amplifier
Test equipment:piezoelectric transducer, ATA-2021H power amplifier, signal generator
Experimental process:
The high frequency sinusoidal signal (near 40kHz) generated by the signal generator is amplified by the high frequency voltage, and its amplitude (peak-to-peak value) is amplified to about 50 volts, which can drive the vibration of the piezoelectric transducer well, produce the high frequency effective vibration required by the test, and realize the ultrasonic processing experiment.
Result of experiment:
The amplitude of signal voltage output by the signal generator is very low, and the driving ability of the piezoelectric transducer is weak, and its vibration efficiency is very low, which cannot meet the high frequency and high efficiency vibration required by ultrasonic processing. After the addition of the high voltage power amplifier, the driving voltage increases greatly, which makes the vibration intensity of the piezoelectric transducer large, and the ultrasonic processing experiment results are ideal.
Amplifier's role in this experiment:high-frequency voltage amplification, drives the piezoelectric transducer to produce mechanical vibration.
